As head of Infrastructure and telecommunications for this company with a worldwide presence that has several offices, CDs and warehouses in the country, it was necessary to use VPN services for the connections of the company's ERP system. On many occasions, several engineers had to be sent to our branches in the country to configure the VPNs at each of the points, which was operationally costly. By changing our VPN’s to SparkView, our engineers no longer have to go out so often and when they do it is for other situations such as updating the equipment; but, our users are reassured that through SparkView all their work is safe and easily accessible just by using their browser.

During this pandemic many of our users were sent home and work from there. The problem is that our users use Linux operating systems, and there are not many companies that can provide remote connections to these operating systems. With SparkView and its VNC protocol, we were able to connect hundreds of our users from their Windows computers at home to their Linux computers at the company, allowing productivity to improve even before the pandemic.

Our company is a mining company that uses many applications for metal scrubbing processes. So our users use Up to 50 apps each! When using an application that allowed to gather all the accesses in a single window it was very difficult. The SparkView software not only allowed access to all applications, but our human resources department can connect to their computers from their homes and continue working, we did the same with the directors’ department.

Many of our architects have to travel to different parts of the country to review the works that are being carried out, so previously they took their laptops to continue working. But this is a bit uncomfortable in addition to the fact that the information of each point must be passed to the architect's team, making the work more time consuming. Now the architects come to the construction site and with even an IPad, through Spark View they can review plans, estimates, call for workers and / or communicate with their colleagues through SparView. Without a doubt, the work is faster since we use this tool.

Our company has multiple connectivity problems. We have areas where we need our branches to connect to the company's ERP system, but we also have departments where users travel to promote our products, but require access to their office equipment which is large and heavy to move from there. Uh, we even have server farms that our engineers log into every day to maintain them. We had previously thought about resorting to VPNs but with SparkView it solved all our connectivity problems. With the SparkView system we were able to give remote access to our branches, our sales directors had access to their office computers from anywhere in the world and our engineers could access the servers from wherever they were to give them necessary maintenance. Even our investors can travel all over the world having access from their cell phones to their equipment even on the flights themselves. SparkView is the most important tool for our people's connectivity.
